Reflexology is a therapeutic practice based on the principle that specific points on the feet — reflex points — correspond to organs and systems throughout the body. By applying precise thumb and finger pressure to these points, a trained reflexologist stimulates the body's own healing responses, improves circulation and releases tension far beyond the feet themselves.
It is not a foot rub. A proper reflexology session follows a structured map of the feet, working systematically through zones connected to the spine, digestive system, head and neck, and more. At Dublin Holistic Massage, our reflexologists are registered with the National Register of Reflexologists Ireland (NRRI), the recognised professional body for reflexology in Ireland.
1. Deep relaxation — reflexology is remarkably calming; many clients drift into a near-sleep state within minutes. 2. Better sleep — it is one of the most common things clients report after a session or two. 3. Reduced stress and anxiety — working the reflex zones settles the nervous system in a way that lingers for days. 4. Improved circulation — especially valued by people who are on their feet all day or sit at a desk all week. 5. Relief for tired, aching feet and legs — the most immediate and obvious win.
Reflexology is also a lovely option for people who want the benefits of a treatment but prefer not to have a full-body massage — you stay fully clothed apart from your feet and lower legs.
You will relax in a comfortable reclined position while your therapist works through both feet with focused, wave-like pressure — firm enough to feel purposeful, never painful. Some points may feel tender; that is normal and usually eases as the point releases.
We offer three options: a 30-minute targeted session (€80), the full 60-minute treatment (€120) — our most popular — and an extended 90-minute session (€160) for complete restoration. All are bookable online in under two minutes, and first-time clients get 5% off automatically.
